A musician in the NY area for 25 years, Ben Monder has performed with a variety of artists, including Marc Johnson, Lee Konitz, George Garzone, Tim Berne, and Kenny Wheeler. He is a regular member of the Maria Schneider Jazz Orchestra and the Paul Motian Octet, as well as many other projects. He has conducted clinics and workshops around the world and served on the faculty of the New England Conservatory.
Kristjan Randalu has been dubbed "a dazzling piano player" by Herbie Hancock. The son of two classical pianists, Kristjan was exposed to music from an early age, and he continued his studies in Karlsruhe, Stuttgart, Cologne, and at the Royal Academy of Music in London.

Embassy Cup 2010

The Embassies of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia in association with the US-Baltic Federation invites members of Lithuanian, Latvian and Estonian communities in the US to participate in the annual basketball tournament "Embassy Cup 2010" on April 17th, 2010. We host this tournament on the occasion of the 20th year anniversary of independence restoration in Lithuania, Estonia and Latvia. We hope to have teams from the Lithuanian, Latvian, and Estonian communities playing at the tournament together with American team formed by the USBF.

We encourage all the Baltic communities to form the teams and come to DC to celebrate this wonderful occasion and show once again the unbreakable unity of the Baltics.

Ainukordne võimalus osaleda 10päevases kunstikoolis Haapsalus neil, kel aastaid üle 16. Osalejad tegelevad peamiselt kunstiga. Sinna hulka kuuluvad kunstiklassid, kunstiajaloo loengud eesti ja inglise keeles. Kooli lõpetab osalejate õpilastööde näitus Haapsalu Promenaadil. Majatus Fra Mare Hotellis vaid 65 dollari eest päevas. Majutuse sees on ka kolm söögikorda päevas, hommikune ujumisvõimlaus meres või basseinis, hommikvõimlemine rannal, terviserajal jalutused jms. Piiramatult saab kasutada sauna ja vajadusel lisa võtta SPA-st. Osalema on oodatud Eesti päritolu või juurtega kunstnikud väljapoolt Eestit.
