Martin is semi-retired. He has worked for over 35 years in commercial and management roles at Hudbay Minerals Inc., Glencore PLC, Xstrata PLC, Falconbridge Ltd. and Noranda Inc. Martin holds an Executive MBA from Rotman School of Management. Within the Estonian community, he is currently a member of the audit committee for Toronto’s Eesti Skaudi Sõprade Selts and is still active in scouts. He is a member of Korp! Rotalia.
Martin joined the Foundation Board in 2017.
