Simply Distinctive - Kiln worked glass by Ingrid Lupp

Ingrid's glass work consists of melting glass in a kiln and manually manipulating the glass when it is soft and flowing. Glass requires many levels of precision, but it also allows you the freedom to explore. The colours and reactions give glass a life of its own.

Since 1995, Ingrid has worked as a professional glass artist. She is driven to learn as much as possible about her craft and has taken numerous courses and workshops in stained glass and kiln forming glass. In addition to glasswork, Ingrid has always been interested in semi-precious stones set in gold or silver and has studied the craft at George Brown College in Toronto and at the Goldsmith School in Brisbane, Australia.
